Port Lincoln – South Australia
We bought VH-OOM from Port Lincoln and flew it home to Shellharbour Airport.
Menindee Lakes
Australia has a number of enormous inland lakes. Sadly, due to drought, these lakes were far from full in February 2019 when we flew over them.
Flying around Wollongong from Shellharbour (YSHL)
Here are some of our favourite photos taken while flying from our local airport.
Pilots with their Recreational Pilot’s Licence (RPL) can fly between Kiama and the Sea Cliff Bridge, taking in views of the Wollongong coast line and the amazing escarpment.
The Field of Lights at Uluru
We were so lucky to take VH-OOM on a desert adventure and visit this amazing art installation at Uluru (Ayers Rock).
Wilpena Pound
We may have made a “teeny” diversion from Port Lincoln to Shellharbour via Wilpena Pound and the inland lakes of NSW!
